History: |
|
°1969
Dayton Technologies was founded in 1969 by two tool and die makers, who entered the vinyl window business. In 1989 the company was acquired by Alcoa, and then experienced rapid growth as vinyl products became popular in residential construction. In 1997 Dayton Technologies became part of the worldwide organization of Deceuninck. In 2003, Deceuninck acquired Thyssen Polymer, and added the U.S. subsidiary, Vinyl Building Products to it's North American family. Today Deceuninck North America has a very broad product offering with window and door systems for new construction, remodeling and replacement market segments. DNA offers vinyl fencing, flooring, ceilings, composite decking, and Twinson wall cladding, under the Kodiak Building Products brand name. |
